Thanks for your comment. Yes, I thought it had heart. In fact, I often find those kind of places do have heart. Another good example is the Santa Rosa shanty in the Philippines. They were as friendly as anything.
In my opinion, poverty forces people to bond and brings out their humanity too. It's only when you start to get wealthy that you can afford to glass yourself off.
I noticed there were a lot of Muslims in Dharavi. Any ideas why?
